20th Annual Tampa Bay Times Festival of Reading

We would like to thank everyone who stopped by and all those who purchased one of our fables. Doug, Candace and I were very happy to meet and speak with you and we truly hope you enjoy the books. We'd love to hear your thoughts. You can contact me at author@davidscottlillis.com or leave a review on the book page at amazon.com (author's amazon page).

We have a busy schedule before the new year. The fourth fable will be released in paperback this month and the Kindle editions of the third and fourth fable will be released in November.

Doug and I will be hard at work producing the audio versions of the fables and Debra will be working on the illustrations for the fifth book.

Will will also be attending a few more book sale and signing events and will post information here and on my site (www.davidscottlillis.com).

We wish you well and hope you have a happy Halloween!

Many updates...

With four months left in 2012, we have an ambitious production and show schedule ahead.  September should see the publication of the third and fourth fables (In Shadow's Sea and The Oracle Who Ate Ants) in both print and Kindle editions.  The artwork for the fifth fable should begin development this month as well. We are also hoping to release our first audio title on Audible.com.  Finally we will be gearing up for 4-5 show appearances in the southeast starting in October. Check the links above to read the prologues of the next two fables and below is a peek at some of the illustrations by Candace and Amanda.

Artist Announced for Fifth Fable

Debra Mixon Holliday has agreed to illustrate the fifth fable in this series. I was instantly enamoured with Stand, the piece that introduced me to her talent, and am anxious to work with her. Debra recently shared with me a few pages from her sketchbook filled with vultures she has spied in and about the woods near her house and I am looking forward to her interpretation of this story. This fable is schedule for release mid-summer. Story updates and samples of her work will be posted on this site as we near publication. In the meantime, visit her site at www.debramixonholliday.com.
